Digital Workflow consultation is the process of identifying an inefficient manual workflow and creating a digital process to maximize efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks.
Here’s my approach:
Identify an Inefficent Workflow
I look for workflows that are inefficient or that lead to bottlenecks, like doing math, a machine can do it more efficiently and with less mistakes than a human with a calculator.
Map It
Look at all the steps of a workflow and map them out on paper: create a flow diagram.
Digitalize It
Take the flow diagram and turn it into a digital workflow.
Implement It
Implement the technology required for the new digital workflow and train employees to use it with maximum efficiency.
